Frequently Asked Questions
1. Depending on your VR hardware, you need to download either Meta or Pico software for your headsets.
2. Then, regardless of headset type, download the Admin Tablet Software for Android Tablet.
Optionally, you can also download the Spectator Software for Windows PC to mirror the VR view to a larger screen for the spectators to watch.
You MUST use the 7zip Archiver software to unpack. You can download it from the link above or from its website at https://www.7-zip.org. It is vital that you use this particular archiver, as others will extract files without displaying errors, but the files will be corrupted and will not install correctly.
In order to enable us to assist you, please record the issue in question using your VR headset video capture function. While recording, please enable microphone on your VR headset and describe the issue you are experiencing so we know what to look at.
If there is an issue on a tablet, please include video of that done with a mobile phone, again, talking through the process what is your concern. Also please film your arena, and you when you trying to calibrate so we can see surroundings and marks and check if all is correct.
If you do not know how to record the video from your VR headset, we recommend looking up instructions on YouTube for your particular headset model. For example, search for "How to record video on Pico 4 Enterprise".
Once filmed, please send the video file to us via WhatsApp, email or file sharing service such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
In strongest possible way we advise you to turn off automatic updates in your VR headsets. Automatic updates may install new versions of the VR operating system which may not be compatible with our software. If that happens, the only way to get your arena operational again would be rolling back the update which is a time consuming and not always successful process.
Even if your arena will work fine after an update you do not want it auto starting update processes while you have customers waiting to play.
So once you have your arena up and running, please disable automatic updates, just turn them off and make sure they stay off, and all staff is aware of it.
